Welcome Weekend

Dear Congregation,

After many months of searching, reviewing resumes, and multiple rounds of interviews with multiple candidates, we are thrilled to report that we have found an exceedingly gifted and highly qualified candidate for our next Minister of Students! 

We are planning a Welcome Weekend for March 20 – 22, 2026. On Friday, March 20, the candidate will meet the church staff. On Saturday, March 21, there will be two opportunities for church members to meet and greet the candidate in the Children’s Ministry Building Assembly Room at church: one from 12:30 – 2:00 p.m., and another from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. 

On Sunday, March 22, the candidate will give a brief testimony in the 9:00 a.m. Well service and the 11:00 a.m. Sanctuary service. At the end of each service, we will hold a brief Special Called Business Meeting for the congregation to vote on the search committee’s recommendation to call our new Minister of Students.

Additionally, during the Sunday School hour, the candidate will be available to meet students in the Youth Room.

We are thankful for God’s leadership and our congregation’s support throughout the search process, and we eagerly await the opportunity to call our new Minister of Students. We hope you will make plans to attend Welcome Weekend events as you are able. Please note that due to proper protocols for ministerial transitions, we must keep the candidate’s name and identifying details confidential for now. We can’t wait for you to meet our candidate!
