Second Cousins Tour of the Virginia War Memorial and Lunch at the Commonwealth Club

Second Cousins and Friends are invited to a tour of the Virginia War Memorial on Thursday, November 13. We will depart the church parking lot aboard the church bus at 9:15 a.m. for the 10:00 a.m. tour.  The 90-minute tour will consist of a short oral history documentary, exhibits, artifacts, and a walk outside to the Shrine of Memory, where the names of close to 12,000 Virginia Heroes are etched in glass and stone.

Following the tour, we will have lunch at the Commonwealth Club.  This will be a $25 charge per person for lunch.  The menu is: Iced Tea, Water, Coffee; Traditional Club Sandwich; Homemade Potato Chips; Roasted Butternut Squash Soup; Pecan Ice Cream; Pirouette Cookie.  Men must wear jackets (no tie required) and there is no denim allowed. 

Please submit your $25 payment to us, and we will pay the bill.  Make your check payable to Second Baptist Church and put Second Cousins November in the memo line.
