Sunday School Leader Appreciation Lunch

On Saturday, September 20th, Sunday School leaders are invited to join the Second Baptist deacon body and to hear Dr. Ryan Burge, former Baptist pastor and principal researcher of the best-selling book, The Great Dechurching, to learn about the largest and fastest religious shift in U.S. history.

10:45 a.m. – 12 noon – Dr. Burge’s public presentation will be in Second Baptist’s Children’s Ministry Building.

12 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. – Sunday School leader appreciation lunch in the 2BC Student Ministry space.

Immediately following the presentation, Dr. Burge will join our Sunday School leader appreciation lunch in the 2BC Student Ministry space. At the end of lunch, Dr. Burge will give a brief follow-up presentation and be available for Q&A to discuss how this religious shift creates opportunities for followers of Jesus to lovingly and effectively engage the dechurched.
