Promotion Sunday

Promotion Sunday is set for August 23rd!

On this special day, children and students will “promote” to their next Sunday School class. We will also hold a “Blessing of the Backpacks” in both services. Children and students are encouraged to bring their backpacks to church and receive a blessing for the coming school year.

During the Sunday School hour on August 23rd, 2BCkids will hold a Parents’ Meeting in the CMB Assembly Space to introduce the 2026-2027 church calendar of events and hear from Rev. Megan Doud about the many things we look forward to our children learning and experiencing this year as they grow in the love of Christ.

To assist with planning 2BCkids events, our children’s ministry is seeking volunteers for our parent committees. These committees will help plan, promote, and put on their assigned events.
