REGISTRATION

Parents, get your kids ready for a downpour of delight as they explore the nature of God! Rainforest Falls is filled with awesome Bible-learning experiences kids see, hear, and touch. Hands-on science experiments, team-building games, unforgettable Bible songs, and tasty treats are just a few of the standout activities that help faith flow into real life. As kids are surrounded by God’s Word, the reality of God’s love gains new meaning and relevance to their everyday lives. Plus, we’ll help kids discover how to see evidence of God in everyday life—something we call God Sightings®. Get ready to hear that phrase a lot!

Registration is open now for all children who are entering preschool through the 6th grade in the Fall of 2026. If you or another adult in your family is volunteering with us the week of VBS and you have a child younger than preschool-age, they may attend our Little Explorers program. More information on all our age group offerings can be found below.

Age Information

Little Explorers (Infant – 3 yrs)

If you are registered to volunteer with 2BCkids the week of VBS, but have a child younger than preschool-age, you can bring them to the Children’s Ministry Building to participate in our Little Explorers program! Staffed by experienced, background-checked childcare workers, your little one will get to enjoy all of the music, activities, and fun of VBS in an environment specially designed for their stage of life!

After completing your volunteer registration, you can register any child(ren) under preschool age for Little Explorers by using the link above and choosing “Nursery” as the grade entering.

Paradise Preschool

An age-appropriate preschool program gives little learners their own space to explore and discover. Group has worked with preschool experts to design a VBS format that gives preschoolers a little less structure and more free-choice play, resulting in smoother transitions and a simpler learning environment. Early childhood experts wrote and tested the preschool activities to serve your young learner’s unique developmental stages and learning styles – bringing each Bible Point into contexts they can wrap their young hearts, heads, and hands around.

If your child is entering preschool in Fall 2026 (i.e. kindergarten in Fall 2027), then Paradise Preschool is the perfect option! To register, follow the link above and choose “Preschool” for the grade entering.

Elementary Vacation Bible School

Welcome to Rainforest Falls, the summer event that guides kids in exploring the nature of God! At Rainforest Falls, your kids will find root in the fertile truth of meaningful, life-changing characteristics of God – their loving Creator who knows them and will love them forever. You can expect a week full of faith discoveries, memorable music, and epic adventures that help kids grow in faith. Plus, they’ll have an amazing time trying out new games, songs, awesome science experiments, and more!

To register your elementary child (entering kindergarten – rising 6th grader), use the link above. Be sure to select the grade your child will be entering in Fall 2026. For example, if your child is currently in kindergarten and will move to first grade in the fall, then choose Grade 1.

Volunteers

Here at 2BCkids, we are passionate about creating an environment that is safe, welcoming, and rooted in God’s love. God knows and loves each child who will attend Rainforest Falls, and our team is already praying for God to open the eyes, hearts, and minds of those volunteers who will be just the right fit for the children He will bring through our doors.

Our goal is to reach 300 children with the message of God’s love through Rainforest Falls. Right now, we have enough volunteers to reach 85 kids. We are actively seeking middle schoolers, high schoolers, and adults of all ages to round out our team of explorers. To register as a volunteer, click here. Read below for more information about the many ways to get involved with VBS.

For Adult Volunteers:

Station Leaders: Station Leaders are at the core of Rainforest Falls. These are the people who prepare and teach the material in the station leader manuals, demonstrating to kids what it means to have a friendship with God in everyday life. We are holding a Station Leader training on Sunday, March 15, at 12:15 pm in the CMB assembly space. Lunch will be provided.

There are still a few spots available to lead our 4 stations:

• Bible Adventures

• Imagination

• Wild Games (Recreation)

• Snacks

Crew Leaders: Crew Leaders don’t have to prepare anything; they just come each day,

guide their Crew members through activities, help facilitate discussions, and generally join in the fun. Anyone who loves the Lord and loves children can be a Crew Leader! If this is your first year serving with VBS, we highly recommend being a Crew Leader! We are holding a Crew Leader training on Sunday, April 12, at 12:15 pm in the CMB assembly space. Lunch will be provided.

If you are 16 years old or older, and haven’t done so already, you need to complete the Safe at Second background check located here. Can’t remember if your background check is up to date? Email Megan and request verification of completion before resubmitting.

For Youth Volunteers:

There will be two required trainings for our youth volunteers:

• The Crew Leaders training on Sunday, April 12 at 12:15 pm in the CMB assembly space. Lunch will be provided.

• The Student Leadership Summit June 2-4. More information can be found here.

Assistant Crew Leaders: Every elementary crew needs a Crew Leader and Assistant Crew Leader! The assistant helps manage supplies, get the crew from station to station, and engages in the experience with the Crew. This is an excellent position for middle or high school students.

Assistant Recreation Leaders: Helps the Recreation Leader gather supplies for games, leads Crews in the fun at sessions of Wild Games each day. Open to middle and high school students.

If you are 16 years old or older, and haven’t done so already, you need to complete the Safe at Second background check located here. Can’t remember if your background check is up to date? Email Megan and request verification of completion before resubmitting.

Donate

Vacation Bible School is a large-scale event with equally monumental opportunities for community outreach! Hosting 250+ children is an expensive endeavor, though, so any support you can provide is thoroughly appreciated. Any gift, large or small, makes a huge difference to our ministry.

Other ways to support VBS:

1. Join us in praying for our church staff and volunteers as they prayerfully seek out God’s plan for the week of Vacation Bible School.

2. Donations given through the Second Baptist giving platform help offset those miscellaneous costs that always arise when putting together large events. To give a monetary donation directly to the church, follow this link. After entering your gift amount, select “Children’s Ministry Gifts” as the fund and enter “VBS” in the memo line. Thank you for your contribution to 2BCkids!

3. This year, Group has made it possible for churches to create a gift registry for supporters to help purchase the supplies we need to run Vacation Bible School! Buying a gift from our registry will give our kids a fuller, more enriching VBS experience that sticks with them for a lifetime by creating a fully immersive Rainforest Falls-themed environment. It also frees up 2BCkids funds for other events and supporting our missional partners. To purchase from our gift registry, click here.

4. Join our decorating committee! Help plan and prep decorations for the FLC Commons, Sanctuary, and more. We will begin decorating in earnest the afternoon of Sunday, June 7, but there is still plenty to do before then! If interested, contact Shannon at shannonpwillett@gmail.com. No crafting skills required!
