Caring Well: A Resourcing Luncheon for Life’s Later Seasons
Second Cousins Senior Adult Ministry – Caring Well: A Resourcing Luncheon for Life’s Later Seasons
Life’s later chapters bring both beauty and complexity — and none of us has to navigate them alone.
Join us in the Gym, from noon until 1:15 p.m., on Thursday, May 14, for a free resourcing luncheon designed to equip and encourage anyone caring for an aging loved one, or beginning to plan for their own future needs. Over a meal prepared by Chef Chuck, you’ll hear brief presentations from local experts on topics including knowing when a loved one needs additional assistance, navigating transitions to a senior living facility, planning for end-of-life arrangements, and supporting a loved one through dementia care. Time for questions and conversation with our panel will follow. The luncheon concludes by 1:15 p.m., fitting easily into a lunch break. There is no cost to attend.
If you would like to participate, please contact Patty at 804-740-7101 or info@secondbaptistrva.org, so we have a headcount for lunch.
