Advent
Advent is a sacred season for reflection and anticipation during which we remember the story of the birth of Jesus Christ.
The Advent sermon series is called “The New Has Come.” It will address classic Advent texts in the book of Isaiah. The first Sunday of Advent (Nov 30), we will study the hopeful promise in Isaiah 2:1-5. The second Sunday of Advent (Dec 7), we will focus on images of peace in Isaiah 11:1-10. The third Sunday of Advent (Dec 14), we will explore the joyful message of Isaiah 35:1-10. The fourth Sunday of Advent (Dec 21), we will welcome the good news of the virgin’s child in Isaiah 7:10-16. And on Christmas Eve, we will celebrate the gift of our Savior!
