Worship at the River
Join us for “Worship at the River” at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 9 at 6101 River Road, the home of Court and Kathy Spotts.
We plan to have several baptisms in the James River at this special outdoor service, which will also include scriptures, prayers, and music. Please bring your own chair. All are encouraged to attend!
Directions from Second Baptist:
- Drive east on River Road about 4 miles to the intersection of River Road, Cary Street, and Huguenot Road. (The light is in front of River Road Shopping Center.)
- Drive straight across the intersection and enter a private drive marked with (5) large white mailboxes.
- Follow the drive across the wooden canal bridge.
- Immediately at the end of the bridge, turn right, almost a U-turn. Drive through woods & across train tracks.
- The baptism is along the river of the second house on the driveway with two red gates.
- The white house is up on stilts with a long, screened porch.
