Business Meetings

Special Called Business Meeting: Sunday, February 8 at 3 pm

Due to the winter storm, the Special Called Business Meeting originally scheduled for Sunday, January 25 has been rescheduled for Sunday, February 8 at 3:00 p.m. in the Children’s Ministry Building Assembly Room. This will be an information-only in-person meeting where no vote will be taken. The purpose of the meeting will be to provide information about Cooperative Baptist Fellowship (CBF) as a follow-up to the motion and discussion at the Annual Church Business Meeting held on November 2, 2025. (The vote on the 2026 Church Operating Budget is already scheduled to take place at the Annual Financial Business Meeting on February 8 at 4:00 p.m.)

Here is the agenda for the Special Called Business Meeting on February 8 at 3:00 p.m.: 1) Opening Prayer; 2) Review of the Previous Motion Removing Funding for CBF from the 2026 Church Operating Budget; 3) Presentation of Information on CBF per the Question of Whether to Fund CBF in the 2026 Church Operating Budget; 4) Time for Questions; 5) Closing Prayer.

As our church policy for special-called business meetings states, “no business other than that specified in the notice of the meeting shall be transacted.” All church members are welcome and encouraged to attend this meeting.

Annual Financial Business Meeting: Sunday, February 8 at 4 pm

The Annual Financial Business Meeting will be held on Sunday, February 8, at 4:00 p.m. in the Children’s Ministry Building Assembly Room. This will be an in-person meeting during which financial reports will be presented, and the congregation will vote on the proposed 2026 Church Operating Budget. The agenda for this meeting will be published in the Financial Book of Reports, which will be available prior to the meeting. All church members are welcome and encouraged to attend this meeting.
