ESL
Second Baptist hosts a thriving ESL Ministry. Currently, ESL classes are held on Monday evenings from September 8, 2025, until April 2026, from 7-9 pm in the Education Building.
We offer Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Citizenship classes. There is also a Conversation Class on Wednesday nights in the Family Life Center of the Church. Please note: we do not provide childcare.
Each session also includes a break time when students can visit 2BC’s “Clothes Closet”, where gently used clothes and shoes are available, free of charge.
REGISTRATION:
Please do not register unless you plan to attend all the Monday night classes through April.
After September 29, in-person registrations will be accepted on Monday nights at 6:45 p.m. before class begins.
There is a one-time fee of $25 to cover materials. Please bring cash or a check with you to your first class or pay online here.

If you would like to participate in any aspect of ESL, please email info@secondbaptistrva.org your contact information, and the church staff will put you in touch with ESL Ministry Leader, Delight Booker.
BAD WEATHER CLOSING POLICY:
When bad weather closes Henrico Public Schools, there will be no ESL classes.
