Join us as we reopen The heARTfulness Studio with a trio of classes!

Have you ever wanted to explore watercolor but are unsure where to start?  In this beginner’s trio of classes, you’ll learn the foundation of this exciting medium.  You’ll discover various ways to transfer your drawings to watercolor paper, then together, we will explore how to paint what you see and not what you think you see!  We will try our hand at multiple techniques in watercolor including the formidable wet-on-wet technique for rendering cloud formations.  We will create galaxies, play with splattering, and go back to science class as we experiment with the effects that salt, rice, and lots of other props add to the texture of your watercolor.  In our final class, you will create a frameable masterpiece using several techniques you’ve learned along the way.  Come to all three or just pick one and you’ll walk away with some tips, new knowledge, more passion for color, and a desire to watch your watercolor flow. We have invited a local artist to walk us through these classes.  You can look her up online at

Classes will be held on April 4, May 2, and June 6, from 1:30 – 3:30.

Individual Classes are $20 or $50 for all three. Please submit your payment via our Online Giving portal here.

This includes all of the instructions and supplies. You can register below
