Dear Church Family,

Earlier this week, we inadvertently posted the wrong video episode of “Breaking It Down with Pastor Noel.” The correct link to last Sunday’s episode is right here.

This Sunday, November 1, we plan to livestream The Well at 9:00 a.m. here and The Sanctuary Service at 11:30 a.m. here. Please be sure to access the order of service for The Well here and for The Sanctuary Service here, as well as children’s materials here, so that you can worship along with us interactively.

I plan to continue our “Elements of Worship” series with a message entitled “The Lord’s Supper: Around the Table.” Since we will be taking The Lord’s Supper, I encourage you to prepare the elements at your home so that you can partake with us during the service. Anyone interested in observing The Lord’s Supper at home is encouraged to view our latest “At the Table” video, which is available right here.

Several adult Sunday School Classes are holding Zoom sessions Sunday morning. If you’re not already connected with one of these classes and would like to participate with them, please contact Kathi Traficanti.

Join us on Facebook or YouTube for a prerecorded lesson with Mrs. Halberg for our Preschool and K/1 friends. Sunday School for 2nd-4th Graders begins at 10am each Sunday and can be accessed here.

If you are in 5th grade you should be receiving an email from Mr. Ukrop or Dr. MacIlwaine with the Zoom info and Sunday School questions. If you are not receiving this, please let Katie know.

Join 2BC Students tomorrow at 10 am on Zoom for Sunday School.

As we prepare for worship at the Lord’s Table this weekend, we might reflect on Jeremiah 31:31-34: “The days are surely coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah…No longer shall they teach one another, or say to each other, “Know the Lord,” for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, says the Lord; for I will forgive their iniquity, and remember their sin no more.”

In Christ,

Pastor Noel Schoonmaker
