The Oregon Hill Baptist Center & South Richmond Baptist Center
South Richmond Baptist Center/St. Paul’s Church
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, CHANGES have been made to the Christmas Store to ensure social distancing and to make it safe for everyone. The Oregon Hill and South Richmond Baptist Centers ask churches, Bible Study classes, and individuals to shop and make a child’s wish come true by purchasing items from each child’s wish list.
If you would like to make Christmas a “Merry One” for a child this year:
- Contact: Wesley Garrett (804-232-0174) or firstname.lastname@example.org OR Jennifer Turner (804-648-1353) or email@example.com by November 2 to receive a child’s name and wish list.
- Shop for the child, either in stores or online. If you are uncomfortable shopping, see if someone else can do it for you (church member, family member, friend, etc.)
Please spend between $50-$75 per child if possible, so that children will get approximately the same number of gifts. If this is more than you can spend, consider partnering with someone to sponsor a child. Each child’s wish list will include: Coat OR outfit (top & bottom) OR pajamas; hat and gloves; two toys (games, etc.)
- Deliver individual bags with unwrapped gifts for each child (name of child on their bag) to The South Richmond Baptist Center Gymnasium (St. Paul’s Church) , 700 East Belt Blvd., Richmond, VA 23224 on Monday, November 30 OR Tuesday, December 1 (9 a.m. – 2 p.m.)
