Take-out is available from the kitchen door for those who pay online.

“Growing in Grace” Music and Faith Development:

For preschoolers, the Tiny Tunes (3’s) & Cherub Choir (PreK) will learn more about God as they sing, play instruments, and participate in musical activities. During Faith Development, children will learn about God and our world through a story about animals, a movement activity, and a devotion. Tiny Tunes children should have their 3rd birthday before 9/30/24.

For elementary children, the Joyful Spirit Choir (Kg), Melody Makers Choir (1st & 2nd Gr), and Young Musicians Choir (3rd – 5th Gr) will take a “Joyful Journey in The Beatitudes” while learning songs and engaging activities to strengthen their knowledge about God. During Faith Development, children will participate in activities about The Beatitudes (Matthew 5:1-10) and learn how to apply these teachings of Jesus to their lives.

Children’s Chimes/Bells: We offer two instrumental ensembles for children in 1st – 5th. These groups learn the basics of ringing chimes/bells in a fun-filled environment. The ensembles perform a few times per year at children’s programs or in worship. It is important that participants are on time and committed to attending rehearsals each week.

  • 1st & 2nd Grade Chime Choir (Mrs. Nancy Hartgrove, Director)
  • 3rd – 5th Grade Handbell Choir (Rev. Taylor Vancil, Director)

Wee Praise: This 45-minute interactive gathering is for our youngest children. Each session, which takes place in room 248, includes music, movement, and faith-building fun led by Mrs. Emily Boddy. Please note that Wee Praise will not resume until September 11.

  •  10 am & 5 pm: open to infants – preschoolers, with an adult.
  • 6 pm: open to infants – 2 year olds, with an adult.

“Just One Second”: Just One Second is our very own youth fellowship and devotions on Wednesday nights from 6:00-7:00 pm. It features group games, challenges, trivia, and all expressions of fun. Students also learn about missionaries serving around the world.

Next Steps: Formation and Fellowship: This dynamic adult discipleship gathering takes place from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in Room 246. This fall, Rev. Tom Mitchell, will lead a study entitled “Practicing the Way.”

If you have questions about our programs or activities, please call the church office at 804-740-7101. We encourage you to join us beginning September 4 to grow in faith and fellowship!
