Class Two – “Day Skies, Night Skies” – Learning the technique of wet in wet
May 2, 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
In class two, we will talk about different types of surfaces used with watercolor, paperweights/types and the differences in painting with water-soluble paint. Donna will demonstrate various brushes and the effects you can get from the brushes. You will practice with a mop brush making a variety of skies as you learn the wet-on-wet technique. You will learn how to prepare your watercolor surface for lots of water, while we create some “out of this world” bookmarks. You’ll also practice the technique of splattering as you add stars to your nebula and you’ll go home with two bookmarks; one to keep and one to gift to a friend!
Individual Classes are $20 or $50 for all three. Please submit your payment via our Online Giving portal here.
