Do you feel restless, beat down and alone? Have you felt the burden of shame in thinking and judging that you are wrong, bad, defective, and unworthy of love or being connected to others in a meaningful and intimate way?  This tool of the enemy is insidious and can keep you buried under weights that prevent you from becoming what God intended you to be in His original design for you. Do you feel guilty in your conscience for things you have done, or others have done to you and do you feel trapped and with no way out? Well, there is hope for a way out of the heavy darkness of shame and guilt. You don’t have to live in regret or isolation anymore.

Join us Saturday, November 4th from 9:30a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in Spence Hall where we will look at a biblical examination of shame and guilt. We will discuss examples, definitions, differences, and causes of both; then look at how Jesus bore our shame and guilt perfectly and completely so that we can be free. This workshop will be led by Evelyne Mueller and Andy Redford.

Evelyne Mueller is a Certified Biblical Counselor and has been with the Christian Counseling and Training Center for almost twenty years. Currently, she is the Coordinator for Counseling at CCTC. She is a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Midlothian, Va.

Andy Redford is a graduate of the University of Richmond with a BS in Psychology (1969) and holds two masters degrees from VCU including a Masters of Counseling Psychology (1974) and a M.Ed. in Education Administration (1979). He is also a Certified Biblical Counselor (1998). Andy served on the board of The Christian Counseling and Training Center before becoming Executive Director in 2003.
