DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nStudent Leadership Summit\n\n\n\n\n\nGive & Go is partnering with our Second Baptist Student Ministry and Vacation Bible School Directors to offer a 3-day Student Leadership Summit for all coaches, leaders, and students in grades 6th through 12th.\n\nWhat: \n\nSpecific Leadership training for Give&Go Basketball and Cheer coaches on how to coach, organize, monitor, and implement drills and games for a group of kids at camp and beyond. \nSpecific Leadership training for all Vacation Bible School student leaders and helpers in a volunteer role. \nHands-on learning activities for individual leadership as well as team leadership, as well as implementing those skills in various settings and scenarios in a sports-like setting as well as in the classroom, and in life. \nThursday’s session will include a Hands-on Mission project in which students will participate in a service project together from 9-12 pm. After lunch, there will be break-out sessions featuring student leadership skills and training in areas such as Worship, Ministry, School, Community, Work, Family, and beyond. \nGroup activities and discussion will be conducted in each break-out session, led by adults in leadership positions within the church and community. \n\n\nWhen: Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday June 2nd – 4th, 2026 9am-4pm, lunch included \n\nWhere: Second Baptist Church (9614 River Rd)\n\nHow Much: The Summit is broken up into three 1-day sessions.\n\nTues. 6/2 9 am – 4 pm – $25 (mandatory for all Give&Go Coaches & VBS Student Helpers) includes lunch, and a T-shirt\nWed. 6/3 9 am – 4 pm – $25 – includes Mission service project, and lunch, as well as Leadership break-out sessions for various fields of leadership in our church, community, school, home, and beyond. \nThurs. 6/4 – 8:30am – after lunch – (Challenge Discovery Day @ U of R) includes lunch & Challenge Discovery Admission \n\n\nTotal cost for all 3 days – $100\n\nRegister Today!\n
