WEST VIRGINIA CHRISTMAS MISSION

Annual Christmas Party Secret Santa

DECEMBER, 7th – 9th, 2017

Second Baptist Church is accepting the challenge to be the Secret Santa to 130 children in need.

We plan to provide a gift for each child as well as hand out Grant’s Grocery gift cards to the needy, especially the elderly at the event December 8th.

This has quickly become a congregation wide team mission, and are seeking volunteers to be a Secret Santa Elf.

There is a detailed list of children, their ages & gift request. Most are 3-14 years old; when a little child asks for something as basic as a blanket or a pillow for Christmas….you will be their blessing and be blessed.  This is a great way to kick off this Holy Holiday Season.

The gifts (a $25-$50 limit if possible) need to be purchased, wrapped and delivered to the FLC (on the stage) before Sunday, NOV. 19th.

Last year 12 of us attended the party and had a great time sitting with the parents, chatting with the children, singing Christmas Carols and serving God’s less fortunate.

Elves of all ages, no pointy ears required, are welcome! On site lodging and your meals are provided at no expense.

Joining us means driving up Thursday December 7th and returning home Saturday December 9th.
