Winter Retreat in Charlottesville
All middle and high school students are invited to a new retreat concept by CBF Virginia. Students will engage in a missions-based conference focusing on care, justice, and compassion for the ‘other.’ Middle and high school students will worship with students from around the state and participate in a guided refugee simulation and prepare meals with Rise Against Hunger. Students from Second Baptist will greatly benefit from the opportunity to hear stories and engage with the hands-on experiences of what life is like for someone else. Worship, meals, and missions activities will be housed at University Baptist Church, right across from UVA’s grounds, and students will be housed at the neighboring Graduate Hotel.
All spots are filled.

Students are responsible to confirm that their registration has been completed.
Cost is $140/student
Second Baptist Church is hosting Mission Madness in March of 2020. Around 300 students and chaperones from all over the commonwealth will travel to Richmond for the 10th Anniversary celebration of Mission Madness. It’s a whole weekend of worship, missions, fun, food, and praise!
Students and others from 2BC will play the dual role of participants and hosts for this event. Mark your calendars for March 27-29, you will not want to miss this fantastic weekend!

We’re registered for Passport Choices in Greensboro, NC June 28-July 3. Save the date!
Passport Choices offers a Christ-centered discipleship camp experience. Students choose from multiple afternoon activities designed to help them cultivate their unique identity as a Christ follower. Nine unique choice tracks range from engaging faith and film, health and fitness, music, and missions help students explore their interests and discover how to live out the calling of God in their lives.
Second Students will partner with Impact Mission Camp at Averett University in Danville, Virginia in a hands-on, local mission experience.
