Register for Student Programs
June 16-June 21
All middle and high school students are invited to Passport Missions at Averett University. In a world that seems to be telling us to fear more and love others less, Jesus calls us to an alternative way of living. Our lives can be radically changed as we notice God at work around us, continue to grow our faith, gather our strength from God, and let love permeate all that we do. Using 1 Corinthians 16:13–14 as a theme verse and the outline for the week, students will be challenged as they dig into this passage (and others) to explore what Paul meant when he called us all to live a faith that is based in love, not in fear. When we are FEARLESS we can LOVE MORE and FEAR LESS.
You will not want to miss this week. Only 30 spots are available and students must register by May 19.

June 29-July 6
So then, if anyone is in Christ, that person is part of the new creation. The old things have gone away, and look, new things have arrived! – 2 Corinthians 5:17
High school and college students are invited to participate in a mission immersion experience in New York City. We are created by a loving and imaginative God who wants us to use our imaginations to create, to love, to seek justice, and to make a difference. By encouraging our campers to IMAGINE this summer, we will empower them to be active participants in their lives, communities, and in the world. Imagination is the root of new things, and we will aim to engage campers in activities and rotations that help foster their ability to create, solve problems, and IMAGINE. By sharing the stories of Biblical characters and modern people who have used their imaginations to make a difference – we will help campers know and believe that what they IMAGINE matters.
Only 25 spots are available. Students must sign up by May 19. At least 2 mandatory training and preparation meetings will take place before our pilgrimage begins. Students will be responsible for the material acquired in these meetings and not attending may result in forfeiting an opportunity for mission engagement this summer.
