Sportz 4 Life brings fun, engaging golf and tennis classes for children of all ages. Using kid-friendly equipment, Sportz 4 Life introduces golf and tennis with easy to learn skills and creative games for the children. Children will learn swings, grips, putting, chipping, volleys, forehands, backhands, hand-eye coordination, balance and movement, etiquette, games, and positive character traits. What is Pickleball? Pickleball is a racquet sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Two to four players use solid paddles to hit a wiffle ball over a net.
Come join us every Tuesday in the gym starting on Sept. 13 @ 9:00 and 2:00. Summer schedule is below.
Everyone is Welcome!!! All you need is yourself, comfortable clothing and tennis shoes, we will provide all the equipment needed, even instruction on how to play!

Faith & Fitness
Sunday evenings 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. starting Sept. 24th.
Come join us EVERY SUNDAY EVENING for a FULL body WORKOUT that will strengthen your MIND, BODY, and SOUL. Group fitness classes are 45 mins starting at 5:30 followed by Group Discussion on Biblical and Life topics and Prayer for the remaining 45 mins. Each week will feature a new planned topic with facilitated discussion and practical application, combined with a Pilates-focused group exercise class designed for ALL fitness levels, for ALL women.
Summer Burn Boot Camp @ 2nd
SUMMER IS COMING!! This session will take us all the way to Labor Day weekend and you will be feeling your best throughout the summer!!!
Summer Burn Bootcamp will be offered at Second Baptist Church (corner of River and Gaskins). Ginnie will lead a combination of Tabata Bootcamp classes and other bootcamp formats using a variety of equipment and suited to all fitness levels. We will have class outside weather permitting. Stretch and Tone Class
Revive those muscles that you think might have disappeared … that haven’t! We use light hand weights, big exercise balls for core work, and the gym for walking. Come and enjoy this 45 minute class with leader, Connie Moe, and other exercisers on Mondays and Thursdays, at 1:30 p.m. in FLC 104 (starts August 24).
Every spring-summer, our church fields a softball team in the Henrico County Parks and Recreation leagues. Our Softball Warriors often host family nights where the congregation is invited to come to games, wear red, and cheer on the team!

On Saturday, May 17, some of our motorcyclists enjoyed a beautiful ride with some of the riders from First Baptist, Richmond. They traveled down to Jamestown and back. If you are interested in riding with our group, contact Chuck Jones.
