Join us for an evening of fellowship, creativity and soul refreshment! Many of our Emerge ladies are gifted in crafting, journaling, scrapbooking and creating meaningful and unique pieces of art through re-purposed items that they have collected. These ladies are so passionate about sharing their gifts that they have set up an art studio in the Education building. Their desire is to lead others in workshops that help them to connect with their own unique expression of how God, the Creator, has designed them to reflect His own image.

Ladies! It is that time again. It is time to leave the husband, the kids, the routine and RETREAT! Our retreat theme this year is Unveiled: I AM WHO YOU SAY I AM based on the scripture in 2 Corinthians 3:18
And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

Please join us at the Roslyn Retreat Center on Saturday, February 9th from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm for a day of worship, learning, growing, praying, eating, laughing, journaling, relating, and blessing. Our Emerge theme for this year is KNOWING. It is all about what you know, more importantly WHO you know, and how that knowing is continuously transforming your soul to be more effective in helping others to know. We are excited that Rev. Jean Trainer, the Executive Director of Dominion Counseling and Training Center, will join us as our retreat speaker this year. She will bring us a powerful message on the process of coming to know ourselves authentically as God created us in Christ, our Spirit-empowered resurrection life identity, as opposed to the false identity that we create and can live out of in our flesh, which has no power, fruit or glory to God. Jean will include small group and personal journaling activities to help us apply the truths of her biblical message. You will leave with tools to use on your own heart, as well as with others, to discover the “REAL ME” in Christ so that His glory may shine through you. Emerge and retreat with us! We look forward to seeing you there.

Tuesday Treasures

Tuesday Treasures

Ladies! Join us for Tuesday Treasures, which is modeled off the concept of Sweet Monday’s and based on the scripture in Matthew 6:19-21. Tuesday Treasures gives women of all ages the opportunity to connect and treasure Christ together through sharing wisdom, encouragement, fun, and fellowship every second Tuesday of the month from September through May.

Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matthew 16-21
